WE Family Offices Advisor Speaks on Opportunity Zone and Impact Investing Panels

WE Family Offices Advisor Richard Zimmerman continues to share his insights this summer on several recent panels discussing pertinent wealth management topics. His most recent panels included: AVCJ Private Equity and Venture Forum – Global Perspective, Local Opportunity and Withers Worldwide Qualified Opportunity Zone Forum.
For the AVCJ Private Equity & Venture Forum, which took place on July 11 in New York City, Zimmerman spoke on a panel titled, “Impact Investment and ESG: An Asia Update.” During this speaking engagement, Zimmerman answered a wide range of questions regarding ESG and impact investing in Asia, including:
- What progress are Asia GPs making on sustainable investment?
- How is ESG criteria used to drive value creation?
- How is technology contributing to sustainable growth models?
- Is there enough of a focus on diversity, and is it part of ESG?
For the Withers Worldwide Qualified Opportunity Zone Forum, Zimmerman spoke on two panels for their “Everything You Wanted to Know About Qualified Opportunity Zones but Were Afraid to Ask” event, which took place on July 16 in Greenwich, Connecticut and July 17 in New York City. This panel covered a multitude of opportunity zone questions, with Zimmerman acting as the expert panelist for the specific area of impact investing.
