Richard Zimmerman Speaks at Impact Conferences

WE Family Offices Advisor Richard Zimmerman was recently a featured speaker at two conferences this Fall season to discuss a variety of impact investing strategies and best practices.
The first speaking engagement was Investment Management Institute’s 35th Annual Consultants Congress, which took place on November 14 – 15 in Stamford, Connecticut. The Consultant Congress brought together senior consultants that are often considered the gatekeepers of institutional investors for two days of relationship building and learning about new impact investing tactics and strategies. During this event, Zimmerman was one of three prestigious speakers discussing the topic of “Working with the Next Generation of Family Offices (NextGen)” in front of client service executives, managing directors, portfolio managers, and other industry professionals.
Zimmerman was also a featured speaker at RI Americas 2018 on December 5 – 6 in New York City. RI Americas is the continent’s leading sustainable business and finance conference where more than 500 investment professionals from around the world came together to learn, share, and debate responsible impact investing strategies. For this event, Zimmerman was joined by two other reputable speakers to discuss the following investing questions:
- Can responsible investors really generate good returns for pension funds and endowments while bringing meaningful long-term benefits to society?
- Impact investment: who is allocating assets, and to what end? Why are asset managers going crazy for impact reporting, and is it anything more than just a window dressing?
