César Maldonado has nearly three decades of experience working with wealthy families around the world. As a partner and advisor at WE Family Offices, he supports international and domestic families in strengthening their wealth enterprises®, collaborating closely with clients and their external financial service providers. His work extends beyond traditional wealth management to include critical non-financial areas such as family governance and continuity planning.
César began advising ultra-high-net-worth families in 2002 when he joined TBK Investments, Inc., a predecessor to WE Family Offices. Prior to that, he served as a private banker at Lloyds TSB Bank in Miami and Ecuador, where he was responsible for developing the offshore private banking businesses in Colombia, Ecuador, and Spain.
He launched his career in Europe with Banco Santander and Banesto, focusing on corporate and risk finance.
César holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration and Finance from the European Business School Madrid (EBSi Madrid), L’École Européenne de Gestion (EBS Paris) and Regent’s College (EBS London).
