In an interview on CNN En Espanol’s Globo Economia, Santiago Ulloa discusses recent activity in the global investment markets, including the recent post-election rally, which to date, has not seen a correction. In the interview, Santiago addresses the factors behind the growth of the equity markets, including the overall health of the world economy. In addition, Santiago names three specific domestic factors which seem to have played a significant role in the recent spike:
- Rollback of regulation
- Anticipation of lower taxes, both for corporations and individuals
- A focus on national infrastructure spending
