Richard Zimmerman Speaks on Climate-Risk Management Techniques at ESG Forum

WE Family Offices Advisor Richard Zimmerman recently provided his sustainable investing expertise as a featured speaker at CleanTech IQ’s ESG-IQ Forum on February 26, 2020 in New York, New York.

The ESG-IQ Forum’s primary purpose was to advance the conversation around ESG and sustainable investing throughout 2020 and beyond. Zimmerman joined more than 200 leading institutional investors, investment consultants, asset managers, banks, family offices, policymakers and corporations to share best practices and discuss leading strategies aimed at developing a more sustainable economy.

During the forum, Zimmerman was a featured speaker on a panel that discussed, “Incorporating Climate Risk Scenario Analysis Strategies into Asset Allocation.” Zimmerman discussed ways investors can adopt climate-risk management techniques, reduce the carbon risks of their portfolios, develop new reporting techniques and invest in low carbon solutions. This was a particularly pertinent topic, as many investors are beginning to understand the long-term portfolio implications of climate change.
