Joe Gutierrez

Joe Gutierrez has more than three decades of experience in the wealth management industry and currently serves as a financial analyst at WE Family Offices. Mr. Gutierrez, having joined the firm’s predecessor firm GenSpring Family Offices International in April 2011, works on the investment team of the global advisory firm, monitoring mutual funds and private equity firms and providing continuous up-to-date information on respective performance, strategy and outlook on the world’s financial markets.

Mr. Gutierrez’s focus includes portfolio management in equity, fixed income and alternative investments, focused on offshore markets. For the past two years, Joe has written a weekly market commentary for WE’s investment team and relationship managers.

Prior to WE Family Offices, Joe had a banking career of more than 30 years with a number of major financial institutions including Chase Manhattan, Wachovia, Barclays and HSBC in Miami, New York, London and Atlanta. Joe’s banking experience includes positions in corporate foreign exchange sales, Treasury, private banking and investment advisory.

Joe was the recipient of a four-year honors scholarship to attend Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, graduating Cum Laude. He obtained his MBA from the University of South Alabama in Mobile.
