Andre Westin serves as an Investment Research Associate for the Investment Research Team at WE Family Offices.
Prior to joining WE, Andre worked in BlackRock’s Quantitative Due Diligence team, where he focused on constructing hedge fund portfolios on behalf of large pension funds. Before BlackRock, Andre worked at Aston Capital Management, a multi-family office.
At WE, he covers both private and public markets. He assists the team with manager due diligence and sourcing. Additionally, Andre supports the team across areas including portfolio construction, risk management, asset allocation, and financial market research.
Andre earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Indiana University with a concentration in Financial & Monetary Economics, graduating with distinction.
While at Indiana University, he served as a macroeconomics teaching assistant, lecturing undergraduate students on quantitative macroeconomic theory. Andre also conducted supervised quantitative research in the Economics Department, focusing on modeling equity returns distributions.
