Joseph Kellogg Partners with STEP for Rehabilitating Trusts Webinar and Private Client Awards

Over the past few years, trusts have begun to earn a reputation as a vehicle for wealthy families to ‘hide’ taxes from authorities. However, this typically is not the true nature or reason for trusts, and the Rehabilitation of Trusts project is aiming to prove that by undertaking research and introducing actual evidence into the debate. To help bring to light the research undertaken as part of this project, STEP hosted a Rehabilitating Trusts webinar on February 24, 2021.

One of the featured panelists for this event is WE Family Offices Partner and Head of Wealth Planning Joseph Kellogg. During the webinar, Kellogg utilized his decades of experience implementing wealth planning strategies in coordination with estate and tax planning professionals to provide insights on the findings from the Rehabilitation of Trusts project and help build a more accurate picture of trusts.

In addition to this speaking engagement, Kellogg is also partnering with STEP by acting as a member of the judging panel for the 2021 STEP Private Client Awards, which highlights excellence among private client solicitors/attorneys, accountants, barristers, bankers, trust managers and financial advisors.

As a judge for the Private Client Awards, Kellogg represents internationally renowned members of the private client industry and will utilize his expertise to assess entries and select up to five finalists for each award category. The winners selected by Kellogg and his fellow judges will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on September 23, 2021.
