WE Family Offices has been named a winner or finalist in three separate industry awards granted by leading personal wealth publications. Celebrating its 15th anniversary of working with families, the firm has more than doubled in assets under advisement since reclaiming independence in January 2013. WE Family Offices is thrilled and honored to receive these recognitions:

  • Wealth & Finance International magazine as part of its 2015 Finance Awards names the firm Best Family Wealth Management Firm in the New York region.
  • The Family Wealth Report, as part of its 2016 awards, includes WE Family Offices among the finalists of the Top Multi-Family Office in the $3-5B AUM category as well as the Outstanding Contribution to Wealth Management Thought Leadership award.
  • Private Asset Management magazine has recognized WE in their 2016 PAM Awards, Named as a finalist for Best Multi-Family Office Overall with AUM in excess of $2B, WE is part of an elite shortlist of seven firms.
  • Financial Planning magazine ranks WE #14 out of 150 in their annual list of largest independent RIAs, based on total assets under management.
  • While being recognized by these publications is always an honor, WE’s singular focus remains on serving their clients. “Families deserve to trust their advisors. We focus first on them – their needs, challenges and lives – and then everything else follows,” said Maria Elena Lagomasino, managing partner and chief executive. “We are truly humbled by the media recognition and know it comes from putting our clients first.”

To be considered for these awards, firms must demonstrate excellence, best practices, and innovation. Voting for the 2015 Finance Awards was open to the publication’s substantial subscriber base, individuals and firms in the financial sector, and visitors to the magazine’s website, combined with the magazine’s in-house research, which carefully scrutinizes the nominee’s region, performance over the past 12 months, commitment to innovation, methods, and even their competition. A panel of judges with extensive industry experience chooses all other award winners.
